Choosing the right present ending
She works in a hospital.
They work in the same office.Write the verb in brackets in the correct present form. First find the subject of the sentence and decide whether it is one other person or thing, or not - that decides the ending.

5. liveItems 1, 3 and 4 have a subject that is one other person or thing, so the verb needs its special ending - and in item 4 the ending needs an extra letter because of the final sound of the verb. Items 2 and 5 have other subjects, so the verb stays in its base form.
